Sve ove situacije mogu sprije\u010diti pravilno funkcioniranje va\u0161eg di\u0161nog sustava i dovesti do ometanja pravilnog rada plu\u0107a u izmjeni plinova (kisika i uglji\u010dnog dioksida). Dispneja se mo\u017ee javiti kod oboljelih od raka plu\u0107a ili npr. kod osoba koje imaju metastaziraju\u0107i rak iz dojke u plu\u0107a. Neki onkolo\u0161ki tretmani mogu\u00a0 uzrokovati dispneju. To uklju\u010duje operaciju plu\u0107a, zra\u010denje u predjelu prsi\u0161ta i odre\u0111eni lijekovi koji se koriste za lije\u010denje raka plu\u0107a.
